The Statistical Office of the SR is terminating the operation of the APV Digestor information system, through which owners and operators of accommodation establishments automatically submitted data on visitor numbers and accommodation capacities for statistical processing.

The system was discontinued due to its low utilization and lack of engagement from accommodation establishments, leading to an inefficient use of financial resources in relation to the operating costs.

From the reference period of January 2026, accommodation providers will submit data from the Monthly Report on the Activity of Accommodation Establishments (CR 1-12 Monthly Report on the Activity of an Accommodation Establishment) for the purposes of official statistics via the Integrated Statistical Information System (ISIS) through the Office’s website at https://zber.statistics.sk/

The data are used to produce statistical products and statistical information ensuring comparability across Europe, enabling thorough analyses and well-informed decision-making for the development of the tourism sector and other related sectors of the economy.
