As part of the development of the statistical information system, a new module was implemented to support automated or semi-automated data collection from the enterprise systems of reporting units.

As part of the development of the statistical information system, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic has implemented a new module that supports automated or semi-automated data collection from enterprise systems of reporting units.

Typical enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems include accounting systems, other financial systems, payroll and HR systems, or other ERP systems used to run a business.

The newly built universal interface of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic for receiving data from external systems will enable automatic filling in of the statistical questionnaire via the web service with data sent in XML format according to the respective XSD schema. The test environment for the purpose of testing the adaptation of ERP systems of enterprises to the created interface of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic is ready.

Five entities are involved in the project. The Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic expects that other developers of administrative business systems will also show interest in order to facilitate the provision of data for state statistical surveys to their customers.
